General Volunteer Positions

Keeping SMGLL running smoothly, keeping it on target, and in line with its mission takes a lot of work. The future of lacrosse in St. Mary’s County offers great promise for growth, but we need your help. We are looking for individuals within the community to step up, get involved, make an investment in the sport of lacrosse and in the life of every young lady who picks up a stick and puts on an SMGLL jersey!

Positions do not necessarily need to be filled by SMGLL parents. We simply want to find people who are as passionate as we are about the sport and who are willing to make a commitment to the continued growth and current success of SMGLL.

A common misconception is that we are part of St. Mary’s County Recreation and Parks. We are not. SMGLL is a privately run organization. In order to continue to meet the needs and requests of the lacrosse community, we need your help, your commitment, and your willingness to become involved in one of the most respected private organizations within the county.
